As a part of OWLA’s ongoing efforts to promote the health and wellbeing of all watersheds and water across NY State, we present this non-OWLA event:
Learn how you can help find “lingering ash” that can be used to breed trees resistant to the emerald ash borer, providing great hope for ash conservation and restoration. Lingering ash can only be found if the right scientific data are collected and ash are managed in a way that allows these trees to persist. You’ll learn how to collect the data and how to incorporate lingering ash into your overall ash/emerald ash borer management strategy.
